How much does it cost?
Adults: R1250 per person, Children U/12: R650 per person
What does it cost for a return trip from Cape Town?
R300 per person or R150 from Hermanus return. Transport R300 and from Hermanus R150. You must be up early to leave Cape Town, it is at least a 2.5 hour drive to Gansbaai.
Where does the trip start?
The trip starts at Kleinbaai harbour, 2km from Gansbaai, 44 km from Hermanus & 160 km from Cape Town.
How long is the trip?
Between 4 to 6 hours.
What time do we start & when will we return?
Normally at 10 am to + - 3 pm depending on tides.
At what age can children participate in the trip?
From 8 years onwards, remembering that the trip is 5-6 hours at sea.
Is breakfast and lunch included?
A light breakfast is served before the trip and lunch is served on the boat which includes refreshments and fruit.
Is diving gear provided?
All diving gear is provided.
Do we dive with air?
No, we don't, but can be provided on special request.
Do we require a license or diving experience?
No diving license is required. Only minimal experience is needed.
How big is the cage (how many people can it take on one time)?
The cage is rectangular, 4.2 metres long, 1 metre wide and can take 7 people at a time.
How long do you spend in the cage?
Approximately 20 minutes to a half an hour.
How far in advance should one book?
Book at least one week ahead if possible to avoid disappointment.
Can underwater cameras be purchased?
Yes. We also have a videographer on every trip.
How can I pay?
Cash or by Credit Card(Mastercard or Visa). (ZAR)
Public liability?
We have a public liability policy which covers negligence.
Do you feed the sharks?
No feeding, only chumming

with a lethal mouthful of
serrated, razor-sharp daggers and powerful enough to
launch their 1-ton bodies
clear of the water, they are
the ocean's top predator and
are the most feared denizen
